Night Vision Pen

Out of curiosity is the NVG pen still in production? Website is down or the domain sold. This pen might be a good solution to current H-1 upgrade community, unable to use lip lights on Thales OTO helmets, or for tactical reasons.

Sorry, but Night Vision Pen has been shut down.

Anyone currently not using their night vision pen and willing to sell? or know where to get any left over stock? PM's welcome.

I sent mine to him to get fixed shortly before he went out of business. Never got it back. Bogus...

So since the pen isn't a thing anymore, anyone have a solid recommendation on a cockpit light? Holding straight and level definitely was a challenge trying to read the enroute chart with the T45's shitty map lights.

Finger Lights seem to work for me. My last squadron’s ALSS guys seem to snag them during regular supply runs. Not sure how most jet guys do it though. I’ve seen all kinds of setups for rotary wing guys.

Cool thanks for the link! Are you pretty confident with the velcro staying on your finger or did you rig it on your finger some other way? I've read a few comments where people had issues with the velcro.

I wouldn’t spend $50 on one of those things. If your flight equipment shop will give them to you, sweet. Otherwise I’d get a red or green squeeze light that you can clip to a zipper. It’s not like you’re on goggles in a T-45 anyway.

Never had an issue with the velcro, but I also don’t have fat ass fingers. I also echo TreeTop comments, don’t buy it if you can get it for free. A squeeze light attached to your zipper is easy too. You can get those for $10 at your local NEX/MCX.

Haha, yeah I have a feeling at the VT's they don't give that stuff out. I'll check the NEX appreciate the insight!
