I got word from my OSO a few weeks ago that there are NO NFO slots for OCC-ers in the foreseeable future. I had trouble believing this until I saw my OSO 'top secret
' slot folder showing no Flight Officer slots for any of the region's offices for any class up to 199.
I'm assuming that there must be a plethora of NFOs in the fleet/pipeline/under contract at TBS in order for the Corps to alot almost no slots for a while.
Anybody have any idea of whats going on? Is this just a preemption of the MOS being phased out?
Insight? Anyone?
