So I'm coming up to the War College for a conference tomorrow, and was wondering where all the playas think the best place to go out was.

My wife recommends the brick alley pub

Haven't been to Newport in 7 or 8 years but the Red Parrot had pretty good food when I was there.

Along Thames street there's tons of good restaurants to chow down to like the Red Parrot and Brick Alley.

My personal favorite is Mama Leone's pizza just outside of base (the driving circle). Try the wings and Meat Lovers pizza.

For something more casual - Firehouse Pizza. And Brick Alley Pub was always one of my favorites.
