Sure you can - Canadian hookers and blow.:icon_smil

What about French Canadian hookers and 100% pure Columbian blow? Life wouldn't get much better than that.

2 things.

#1) In my personal, humble, honest, and slightly informed opinion, I think there are 10 times more posts on AW b*tching about those 1 line "what are my chances" questions than there are actual posts. Not attacking anyone, just making an observation.

#2) Fly, you will eventually get to your 1000 posts level. I'm sure you will be up late tonight finding intriguing things to say under the spouses and parents corner. You might get desperate and throw some creative advice in under the lateral transfer area. But i'll be d*mned if you talk about hookers and cocaine under my beloved navy seal commercial thread. :D

GOOD DAY.

Yes. they. do.

I had the wonderful chance to meet a few in my time (short as it's been so far), really great guys, but not ones to mess with. If they want it to be SEALs, it's friggin' SEALs.

People have this weird mystique thing about SEALs - totally unwarranted. I hang w/ a bunch of them and they're completely normal dudes. They would fit into any readyroom.

That implies that a readyroom is normal...

Agreed. They were all normal guys that I met too. But I met them as instructors durring one of my many SEAL Challenges. When you meet them, they're great guys, but then things change when you loose your swim buddy because two of them tried to drown you. Or when you get to stay behind on the beach with 6 of them for "special treatment" while the others go out on a boat run. But then, at the end of the challenge they go back to being normal, fairly laid back kinda guys.

I mean, it's amazing how much intensity these guys have, and how quickly they can turn it on and off.

Interesting side-note: My friend who drove us to one of these things took his keyless entry fob with him, and left his real keys in the car. Needless to say, we got very wet, and very sandy for the next day or so. When it broke and we were locked out, sitting in the parking lot, soaked, sandy and hating life, a friendly SEAL helped us to break into the car. Great bunch of guys. Glad they do what they do though too.

Not that its particularly sexy or glamorous but it is described in much detail under the Global Navy Development along with the Seabee's, healthcare, Blue Angels, Diver and Crypto communities. Even such "non-sexy" stuff as preventing drug trafficking, maritime security operations, and humanitarian relief is explained about their role. Though I am not a SWO or desire to be one it's not as if the Navy is hiding the fact that we have ships nor what we do with them.

And on another note I just found this on there....
............probably old news to everyone else. Bravo Zulu.

See, I find this very interesting. Here's the link from where you got that from: http://navy.com/about/navylife/onduty/navyglobalinvolvement/preventing/

It's amazing how even the Navy media can screw up it's facts. Talk about an amalgam of busts all set into one "case." That was us on the Crommelin, and oh the story I could tell you of that particular bust w/ the Tico (no love lost between the Tico CO and us). And then VP-16 gets credited for the big bust (actually two) even though they were one part of the overal 2 week persuit (again, it was us who actually made one of the two busts).

Okay, I'm done. /vent

You know, you can read the forum without being a member... so that really doesn't accomplish anything.

I lurked for a good month and a half before I signed up to post anything.
