It was taken in California. I am not exactly sure where. But I believe the Digital Globe, the owners of the satellite that took the pictures say where it is. And of course the makers of the satellite, Quickbird, is none other than the company I work for: Ball Aerospace.

Somewhat related...

Did y'all hear about the Amish in PA sucking it up and using machinery to save their crops that were damaged by hurricane Isabel?

I think most of us don't give the Amish the credit they deserve. They are a pretty tenacious group - maybe they were the ones that did the crop design....

tenacious maybe, but ask the native americans what happens to a proud people who refuse to accept the rapid changes in technology and the overall corrupting of society.

they better start toying with the idea of a casino before Wal-mart buys them out

This crop design is in Corona, CA. About 45 minutes drive east of Los Angeles. I live in the town
just north of Corona, so I've driven by it before....and no, there is no Amish in California. At least that
I know of.

so....uh kobyra...do you ever get that satellite over to a...uh beach...with free-spirited young women...and get some closeup photos?
