Need advice for my shoulder

How you doing guys and gals? I know some of you have given me some advice but I need more plus I forgot some so please if you do not mind inform me again. I need ot get surgery on my shoulder because I dislocated it for the 4th time at ocs. I need to get a surgery that does not include getting screws or what not. SO can I hear your experiences and advice? Thank you.

Don't know about surgery options - just make sure you get a doctor familiar with sports type injuries and rehab. I broke my collarbone playing rugby in college. The doctor I had was a complete quack (he dealt mostly with senior citizens - so the simple fact that it was healing was great news for him), he wasn't concerned at all about rehab and getting it back into shape.

As much as I hate jock-ocracy, I will say that when I got hurt I was glad I lived in a college town. Since the football players are treated like gods here, I went to an ortho surgeon who works with the football team. Cost $700 per visit, but I healed and now I'm faster and stronger than I've ever been (literally, that's not an exaggeration).
