What did I miss?
I thought it was writing “nations” instead of “nation’s”.What did I miss?
I honestly want to know what their internal process is before someone is allowed to hit send.I thought it was writing “nations” instead of “nation’s”.
Or not opening with “lettuce”, thus missing a chance for lethal swagger.
Oh @Lawman you again miss the point... Would any of what you just dribbled onto your keyboard matter if someone from the other political party were the current occupant of the White House, and was having a vanity event like this?Did you have a point to make other than the social media page of a unit is not reliable news, and the media demonstrated it has no idea what it’s talking about?
101 CAB has no aviation tasking to this Parade. The brigade is forward right now, and the unit in question is on home station mission command. They could have found that out via google, or probably the same FB page if they’d wanted to.
The first IPCs for this event predate the 24 election.
Where do we get such people....?I honestly want to know what their internal process is before someone is allowed to hit send.
I think we're at the point where if President X said he liked cheese on his hamburgers that 43% of the population would be enthusiastic supporters and 43% would be scheduling a day of outrage. It's often a helpful exercise to think, "how would this go if the other party/side/person/group were in power? How would I perceive this? How would the media machine present this?"
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him, truly.
And...may certain members of this forum, and the nation at large ask themselves, "how many pearls would I have already clutched had this occurred preparing for a President Obama, Biden, Buttigieg, or Sanders vanity project?" And be honest with yourself....
Ding, ding, ding…that’s a bingo!I think we're at the point where if President X said he liked cheese on his hamburgers that 43% of the population would be enthusiastic supporters and 43% would be scheduling a day of outrage.
I have gone from actively following politics to purposely avoiding coverage in the last 10 years.
I'm not quite there yet, but I'm very close to actually not caring either way. Post heart attack, I've gone out of my way to have zero emotional involvement in anything I can't influence.
The Army was planning this before he was elected.Oh @Lawman you again miss the point... Would any of what you just dribbled onto your keyboard matter if someone from the other political party were the current occupant of the White House, and was having a vanity event like this?
This is your brain on drugs.
They were planning a parade? Or they were planning a celebration? The Army was planning this before he was elected.
A parade. Not as big as the one that went off (only about 400 soldiers) but a parade. There is no doubt it got bigger, but it appears to have been well received. They were planning a parade? Or they were planning a celebration?
Still haven't answered the question though, but maybe @robav8r @BigRed389 or @Hair Warrior can help you out: regardless of the circumstances, planned or otherwise, can you tell me that this event (and you, again, can characterize it however you'd like) wouldn't be pilloried by the sauced hosts over at Fox while also receiving 'deep' think pieces from NR or the Washington Examiner? I'm not sure you can, and that's a thing. The Army was planning this before he was elected.
Do you have a point other than anything that Trump is involved in you don’t like?
Wait the tanks are driving past… My god! The roads! Oh wait they’re fine.
