Okay, I am currently active duty AM2, I submitted my package for intel 1830 29SEP22 for an application due date of 07OCT22 and a board convene date of 07NOV22. On 14NOV22 I received an email from Paul of a few issues before it could be sent to board. I scored a 45 on the OAR and was aware I needed a waiver, but was instructed by my NC1 (CCC) that the portion of the OCS application personal statements for waiver requests covered that. Turns out this was false. I was also told that since I already have security clearance I have an up to date sf-86, also false, or I need to attach a copy of my already processed sf-86. Now I have to try to get a CO’s endorsed letter for the OAR and I have to get a 2nd waiver for gpa requirement because I did not know they calculate gpa from every college attended and not just the college you received your degree from. (I had about a 6 year break in education and was young and dumb the first go round) My question is my command misinformed me in multiple aspects. Is it safe to say that my package making it to board this go around is not happening, and if it doesn’t, will my package get rolled into the next one?
