Naval Aviator Career

Ok, I get that the P-8 is a jet, but doesn't land on a carrier. But, even after using the search functions and Google, it wasn't clear to me that P-8 pilots ever serve at sea. So, do such pilots ever do those two year "disassociated tours" that carrier based pilots do? If not, when, if ever, do they serve at sea?

Bro, the chart early in the thread about aviation career path answered your question. I also answered your question about P-8 types goes going to sea. And, if you’re not capable of reading the room like others have noted, I’ll spell it out for you. Its one thing for us as winged aviators to mock the Air Force (which fuck em 😘) it’s another thing for you to mock them.

@CommodoreMid isn’t blaming you for anything, you are being reminded that you need to earn status before you make fun of someone else’s hard earned status. Take @HuggyU2 for example…I hear he is short, I know he is bald, and rumor has it he wears an ascot with his flight suit…but he is one hell of a pilot and deserves our respect.
