JetJunkie went to the airshow and said that on saturday the ceiling was less than 900 feet. Would the Blue Angels even perform with those conditions?

Nope, which kinda sucked. Fat Albert performed though, which was really cool.

I happened to be around after the Blues announced the no-go, and we did get to watch them take off - which of course they did by their inimitable routine. I was very impressed by the lack of hostility in the crowd. It probably helped that the tactical jet demos (F-18, F-16) went up and did their low demos.

I have a bunch of pictures, I'll try to upload a few when I get back to my apartment.
