The alternate ending for those who aren't afraid to talk (v. stare at) to college girls begins at #2.

There's no talking to college chicks, at least not on any level I can bring myself down to these days. A few years ago, ya I would put my game face on and pulled out all the bs in my bag for some poon. Then I realized how much more cougars know, and how much easier they are!

There's a really good Cuban restaurant at the corner of Catherine & Margaret, can't remember the name.

Is the Trumbo Point BOQ still alive and well???

Yes, it is more often referred to as "Fly Navy" due to the sign painted on the building. I agree with FLYTPAY that it is a bit of a longer walk, but nicer accomodations. Now, if you can get a townhouse on Trumbo and share it with your buds...

A neighbor of mine when I was 16 told me this:

"I like women over 40,
They don't yell,
They don't smell,
and they're grateful as hell... "

Didn't make much sense then, but now... :icon_smil

Best advice is to have fun, don't get stupid and drink in public or piss on a wall..that will get you busted...

Just goofing around and being a bit drunk in public..no problemo.

Don't go much further East on Duval Street than Margaritaville.

:yuck_125:

Hahaha, funny you mention this man. I visited my Uncle, who is in the USCG, down there last summer and we were walking East, a bit past Fat Tuesdays (I think... at that point I was a bit buzzed), and all the sudden he turns around and said that we were entering the gay district.

Overall we had a good time. Stayed in some awesome rentals on base that were very cheap but nice! A lot of good laughs.

You will not run out of things to do down there. I suggest getting a SCUBA License and going spearfishing/lobstering (when the seasons up).

Was there a few months back and as far as I can remember (it was a blur), you can drink in public throughout the whole town as long as it is in a cup of some kind. Great cigar bar down by southern most point, but only head down that way during the day!!!

Well, I've done a good job of taking y'all's advice down here. Fly Navy Inn is a good location.
El Siboney was great. Ate there the night I arrived. I saw JMH and New York Pauly in Irish Kevin's. Left about 0230, and didn't get up early the next morning.
Spent the entire day yesterday on Sunset Pier: THAT was a bar tab! Did Blue Heaven today for brunch: waited 95 minutes for a table, but enjoyed it. Still lots more to see.
Met a couple of Super Hornet guys from VFA-122: Farva and Shrek; seemed like great guys.
The "freak factor" hasn't been as high as I expected, but I'm sure it's just 'cause I don't get out much.
Thanks again for the tips.
