WWS = Wing Weapons School
Some communities have WWS and others have Weapons Training Units (WTU). Only difference I can guess is how much money they are willing to spend.

Ahhh, the Nugget. Reminds me of my first det as a young enlisted guy, we went to NAS Fallon. The Airwing came into town and we had to move out into hotels out in town. Good times. I forget the name of the place, but is there still a "Pigs in Space Night"?

Had some crusty, fat, salty old chief (the guy must have been about 90) that was stationed there that insisted every Marine who wanted to go had to dance with the refrigerator first to qualify... I like Doc only watched - more entertaining that way.Frequent patron Doc?
That thing is like a rite of passage now, scary as it is.........
