WASHINGTON—In a Pentagon hallway hung an austere portrait of a Navy man lost at sea in 1908, with his brass buttons, blue-knit uniform and what looks like meticulously blow-dried hair.
Wait. Blow-dried hair?

Great story! But with Commodore Bullock & LtCol Bangsboll?! Did someone pull a fast one on the WSJ?

Didn't notice that the first read, but there is no way they can be there real names

Hmmm..could be a snooker on the WSJ, but ya know the Canucks/Pommies come up with some pretty innovative, multi-generation family surnames. A last name like Bullock-Bangsboll for one person, wouldn't really surprise me.;)

They interviewed the guy in the picture on NPR today (retired USN CAPT) sounded like standard Navy shenanigans...awesome!
