Thread zombie (sorry) - but this is cool (for me at least).

1. How pedestrian our MRE's are (the Italian trooper is almost gagging)
2. How awesome Euro/NATO rations are!
3. Did he get her number?
4. Which does @mad dog prefer?

The French have the best field rations, but the Italians have the best mobile field kitchens by far. In Iraq I was quartered next to an Italian unit and they were very generous with the pasta and freshly baked bread!

French RCIRs. I got to try some running around in the HOA with some Legionnaires. Holy fuck, dude. I believe I had a rabbit in sauce, and paired with a nice Burgundy in a canteen cup. Never had anything like it.
