MOS assingment for those kicked out of flight school

Any idea how mos's are assigned for those who get kicked out of flight school for medical reasons?

I know a few guys this happened to. You will fill out a MOS list like you did at TBS and will be given the best choice possible as per needs of USMC.

I have heard time and again that it also depends on the reasons that you get kicked out of flight shool. If you suck and wash out because you don't put out, then you will likely get an MOS that isn't to glorious. If your eyes prevent you from going and you have busted your tail through TBS and things are out of your control, then you will likely impress them and get a more high speed mos.

None of us know, or care, how you did at TBS. If you attrite, we look at the officer qualities you demonstrated while in flight school: are you squared away, did you come prepared to your briefs, did you never give up? Some people just can not fly but that does not mean they are not good officers.

Chesty Puller comes to mind......

i'd like to think that whoever's in charge would look at all info at their disposal before they make decision like what MOS you get. Even if its not required (if they're good) they'll ask around. That could be good or bad depending on how you performed previously.
