Ya, didn't you see the Curt Russle movie where they sent him and a spec-ops team to board an airliner in flight. (That was the movie where Steven Segal got sucked out of the entry tube on the F-117 they converted into a team delivery vehicle and plumited to his demise from FL450 or there abouts.)

Toward the end they used morse code to tell the F-14's not to shoot them down. And movies dont lie.

Can you read dot-dash identifiers if you see them in print and then be able to hear something and say, yes, that's that? Then that's about all the morse code you need. So long as you can identify a navaid by comparing the published morse code to the sound in your ear, you'll be fine.
