The three most dangerous things in Aviation:

1. A doctor in a Bonanza ...

2. A pilot making investments ...

3. A flight attendant with a chipped front tooth ...

Mayday

I thought that was the recline!
You ain't kidding, A-4's. I watched a doc land his Piper-something-or-other gear-up once. Slid down the runway with pretty sparks making a rooster-tail behind him. On flare everybody was yelling on tower freq "Go around! Your gear's down!" but he must've already switched to gnd or something.
The worst part was, the first people to jump out of the plane once it stopped were some 7 & 10 yr old kids.

Okay, first off, we were three in the green; second, I was 14, not 10; and third, everyone who hasn't landed gear-up once or twice is missing out on a good time.

"The three best things in life are a good landing, a good orgasm and a good
bowel movement. The night carrier landing is one of the few opportunities in
life where you get to experience all three at the same time."

What is the similarity between air traffic controllers and pilots? If a
pilot screws up, the pilot dies. If ATC screws up, the pilot dies.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a
helicopter -- and, therefore, unsafe.
