I was just up late studying for physics, and I didn't think to search for my question before posting it. It was, is a history of asthma (even minor) always absolutely disqualifying. The answer is no.

That *was* awfully cryptic though, wasn't it! [:D] The search key is your friend.

So then how do you get about the Asthma factor? My doctor said that he would write I note saying I haven't had it in over 10 years (when I was 5 or so), and also said that when I had it it was very light. Where did you get your info?

Assuming its minor to begin with, you should be fine if you didn't have it after age 12. Your records may already state how badly you had it. Mine, was borderline to the point of non-existance (I never had an attack, but the parents had it, so they wanted me to have an inhaler right about 11-12 YO. That was what got me worried).

Oh, I never had an attack either, and I do like very aerobic sports (track, swimming, etc...) and my doctor said that it was pretty easy to assume I didn't have it.
