I have a condition that screws with my noce year around and causes congestion. For one thing, this is not because of allergies. There is a procedure avilable that permanently cures this disorder and takes about 4 miniutes to perform. How can I find out if this is acceptable for addmission into flight training? Please help me out.

Go to www.nomi.navy.mil. Either send an e-mail, or find a phone number and call them. You probably need to talk to someone who knows about Ear/Nose/Throat related waivers.

I have occasional sniffs and snot, and some would call it allergies. I've been prescribed Allegra from my doctor to use whenever I want to. I also have had two broken bones. Also, I was told I had a kidney stone when I was a senior in high school. Never found the stone, but my manhood sure did hurt if you know what I mean. My question is, will this hurt my application process? Will the men on the board think that I'll have a kidney stone every day along with a runny nose? Sure hope not. I wanted to ask you guys before I ask an OSO. Be honest. Thanks.

If you don't have to tell them about it when you take your physcical, then don't. Just my opinion.

If its not a major issue that would cause a safety problem, then I wouldnt volunteer any information that is not asked for. I'm not saying to lie. I'm just saying there are ways to answer certain questions. Example: Have you ever been knocked out before. Answer: Not that I recall.

I mean if you are not directly asked, then dont give them any reason to NPQ you. Just my two cents.
