Marine Corps Aviation Association: I'm not familiar with it, and they are having a convention in Reno 15-18 May.
Is it a mini-Tailhook, basically? With the usual parties?
Or is it a bit more subdued?
Has anyone been before?

It's a good group…although my exposure has been limited to the "Marion Carl Squadron" at Miramar. It's obviously "community-independent"…pointy nose, heavy FW, rotary, etc. Very good in that regard. Just seems like a tough year (sequestration) to get a very heavy AD turnout…junior OR senior. Probably "no-cost TAD" is the best folks can hope for…but I hope I'm wrong.
