Do they teach you martial art in the Navy?

the Marines all go through martial arts training. we are doing it as of right now at TBS. and there are two navy chaplain's that are doing it with us. but like said above, navy doesnt train in martial arts.

Martial arts and pugil stick training for ROTC units have been forbidden. Too many injuries. Anybody still doing it either doesn't know or just doesn't give a damn. It's a shame, too. There will be a bunch of Midshipmen who get their blocks knocked off at OCS because they've never been exposed to pugil stick fighting.
