I'm shocked, isn't today the 237th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps?

Not one Yut! Yut! Oorah! Semper Fi!?

No drunk posting from me last night :(

Live fire at Lejeune was a bit rough this time around (40 degrees and raining, and the air showed up so I had to stand out in it), and I was exhausted. Left Lejeune on Friday, and ball on Saturday. Was in bed by 10:30 after the ball because I was literally THAT tired.

But, if you guys want - I can get wasted tonight and post barely-coherent semi-argumentative posts...

Had a great time at the Ball. Met three Marines who served with Chesty Puller and an 89 year old Marine who fought on Guadalcanal, Bougainville, Pelilieu, AND Okinawa.

I also know quite a few Marines who fought on Peleliu, too. What's your point?

OH - I get it... ;)
