Yeah, thanks for the time-late support, PM ;) No sooner had I posted the joke when, to my alarm and dismay, some fool had ruined it in the VERY NEXT POST! Come on, people!

If it makes you feel a little better, I don't know about OCS, but boot camp definitely made us pay for haircuts, whether our hair was buzzed or not.
I wouldn't complain, an OC (paid E6) can afford the few bucks for a haircut better than a recruit (paid E1, or E3 in my case).
