I'm a big fan of Isopure protein. It disolves well in water, and doesn't make you shit as much as other proteins I've tried. In my experience, you get what you pay for as far as protein is concerned.

NOExplode is a fun supplement too, but I tended to get sick to my stomach when I took it.

Mirroring those prior to my post...disclaimer and such..

Protein is a great thing to include while exercising...I just eat lots of fish (specifically tuna...vast amounts of protein there) and chicken (either broiled or grilled). I also used to stack CellTech with NitroTech...often considered to be the best 'stack' on the market today -- the boost in energy as well as muscle growth are phenomenal. As with other creatine/protein regiments, you should always research before using...and should definitely cycle as well, as to not induce organ damage.

Never played with NOExplode...curious as to how good/bad it is though...CC, continue on your experiences w/ it.

NO2 is the have all to end all, IMO...this stuff is FM! :)

www.SupplementWarehouse.com

This site will beat any other sites price by 5%. When I am buying supplements or vitamins, I google the lowest price, then go here and beat it by 5%.

Without going to the site and putting in a mock order to see what the shipping cost would be, I really can't compare. But the site I listed had a $4.99 shipping for any size order. I figured that was very reasonable.

There is another site called www.easypricematch.com that also has the "We'll beat the other guys price by 5%" thing going on but they bone you with the shipping. It wasn't worth it.

I'll take your word on that website that the prices are good but check this out...

This is the problem with a lot of supplementation, there is a lot of information flying around there - much of which contradicts other sources.

It does make sense that the extra weight would slow you down. Internet sources are pretty unreliable, but without looking into it too deeply, your source from runningplanet probably trumps mine from bodybuilding.com.

Sorry if I was unclear, I wasn't saying that creatine could cause kidney damage, I was saying that as far as I know, the only way it could be bad for you is if you had an existing kidney condition which did not allow you to excrete excess creatinine build up.

Muscletech products seem to claim a lot, but I am unconvinced. Nitrotech = Overpriced protein. Celltech = Creatine Monohydrate + Gatorade (effectively) + $$

This link to a forum links to a study by Syracuse University that found that lifting weights produces more growth hormone than NO products alone (L-Arginine) -or- NO products + lifting weights.

Endogenous GH production rate (Ex > Arg+Ex > Arg > placebo) was greater on the Ex and Arg+Ex day than on the placebo day but there were no differences between the Ex and Arg+Ex day. Oral arginine alone (7 g) stimulated GH release, but a greater GH response was seen with exercise alone. The combined effect of arginine before exercise attenuates the GH response. Autonegative feedback possibly causes a refractory period such that when the two stimuli are presented there will be suppression of the somatotrope.
