Loss of two warriors.

I am sad to report of an F-14 that disappeared over the Indian ocean. The F-14 was from the USS Constellation. The crew are declared dead. The plane was returning to the ship when the ship lost radar and radio contact.

In addition to the F-14 disappearance, I wanted to mention that two German Luftwaffe pilots, a student and an instructor, were killed on a training mission outside Phoenix yesterday. They were flying a Beechcraft F33A when they crashed into the desert at about 0700 local time. The crash is still under investigation.
