Loss Of Aircraft

I guess I've never thought about this. Do you fly the same aircraft your entire tour? I'm used to the flight school/FRS method of taking whatever is available, so I was under the impression that's how it would always be.

Except for the time someone else snuck out the keys for your aircraft and did the low fly by, being sure that the "SevenHelmet" below the cockpit was clearly visible to all! LOL

Seriously..if we had names on our aircraft the practical jokes that would ensue would be epic. We already have CH-47 guys leaving the parking lot with "marital aids" suction cupped to their pickup truck tailgates and other assorted magnetic bumper stickers affixed to their cars.
