Looking for a NAVAVSCOLSCOM publication called "Origins, Traditions & Facts"

Hello all...recently someone showed me a copy of a "book" of sorts called "Origins, Traditions & Facts", which was a great book full of naval history, traditions, and lore. It appears to have been published by the Naval Aviation Schools Command. I have attached a picture of the cover and first page. Anyone know if this still exists, or have it in PDF format, or know if it can still be gotten?

Hah. Sorry. Not sure where to find it, but if I'm not mistaken, that's a pub (or at least similar to one) we got issued in OCS that I have buried in my boxes of keepsakes somewhere. Nice.

My OCS Class Officer had one, and he tried to find copies as well, but no joy. It was given to OCSers in PCola, and AOCSers before that. The author was, I guess, a bit of a legend in PCola. She taught etiquette and traditions and retired when OCS moved, or at least that's what I heard.

A Chief at OTC Newport was finally was able to get a copy of his own and was able to provide me with an electronic copy.

History from a friend (who shall remain anonymous):
Mrs. Yonke taught my class "Naval Etiquette" when I went through DCO School in Pensacola back in 99. The wife of a very senior Naval Officer, she was the Navy's version of Emily Post, a real Southern Belle too. She actually came to our dining-in, which meant that we held back our drunken debauchery until after the event. I guess it was bad etiquette to puke all over one's dress whites.

I converted it to a searchable PDF and made it available in a couple of formats here:

Google Docs
6.5MB PDF

It's a great addition to your electronic bookshelf. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
