i'll just wait till the "locking threads" fad has run its course. probably a fun little toy right now but hopefully it'll get old. (it already is)

Sure it'll run its course. Right about the same time the flame wars and repulsively stupid posts run theirs. My prediction.....no time soon.

I like locking better than out-right deleting. At least with locking, you can see why a thread got locked, etc.

I'm guessing server space is not unlimited and as much as I love to read about F-16s landing on carriers and things of that nature there is a purpose to this site and that aint it. Lock away saves me the trouble of thinking it is worth my time.
