Lie Detector

I recently read that in order to be naval aviator you will have to complete a lie detector test!. Is this true for the marines? What kind of questions do they ask you?

What would be the problem even if they did require a lie detector test?

And as for what kind of questions they ask you, when given a lie detector test (by the government anyway) you are given the questions prior to the test.

The problem would be that it would appear to be a lack of trust from the Navy. They already asked you the questions once... why do they have to give you a lie detector to ask them again? What the hell happened to honor?

Ive never had one and haven't heard of anyone else needing one for flight.

I've been Navy for nearly six years and I don't know a single person who has had a lie detector test...
