I was just wondering, Does anyone know if you can take leave during your training as a SNA. For example during API, Primary or Advanced training are you allowed to take leave, and if so how does it work. Do you just miss classes and make them up or what? Can someone please fill me in on this. Thanks for any answers in advance.

You can take emergency leave(death in the family etc) just about anytime you need to. They generally don't give out leave in API, in primary as they put it to us, if you're getting married they might give you friday off:).

So far intermediate is more flexible, especially for T-2 guys since there's upto a 6 week wait between your RI(Radio Instrument Stage) and FAM(Familiarization stage) They will give leave over christmas but typically only a week and that is in shifts, i.e the week leading upto and the week after christmas with both shifts getting Christmas off. Don't know anything about the lads in advanced at VT-7.
