LASEK is a relatively new procedure and the site may not be up-to-date. It is basically a second-generation PRK procedure. The surgery notes look virtually identical to those from PRK surgery, at least according to my doc. Rest assured, I and many others have had the surgery and were waivered good to go post-op.
