I know this is extremely random and I didn't know which forum to put this in so I thought I'd just ask it here.
In watching the news tonight it talked about a C-130 pilot that had a laser shined at him on approach today and it made me think of the increasing danger to pilots from stupid people on the ground and also laser protective eyewear.
I know they have these for purchase for civilian pilots and have considered purchasing a pair several times. Are Navy pilots allowed to wear them while flying, or is there a visor fitted to the helmet which negates them?
If there is no military solution could I use a pair of civilian glasses during flight school?
