On those update pictures of the S-3, one of them shows a hoover just about to cross the ramp. Anyway, In that photo, the ball is completly obscured by two fighters on the left sid of the deck. So do you just guess your right glide path on when you lose sight of the ball. I know for a fact that spotting the deck is a big "No No". What do you do in that situation? I guess listen to the LSO. Check it out for yourself.

Maybe I should keep my mouth shut!. I do see the datum lights, it's just hard to make out in that photo. Thuuuuaaaaacccck, the sound of me punching myself. I see.... said the blind man!!
