Anyone familiar with with the PLR (.223 long range pistol)....
I'm gonna have to take back what I've said that Texas is the most gun-friendly state in the Union. Of course, Texas is its own Republic ....^+1
My buddy has a PLR and it is fun to shoot. However, 9mm ammo is cheaper and you may have a fun time trying to find somewhere to shoot it. There's only one local range that lets him. They say it's too powerful for the pistol range, but it's not a rifle so he can't shoot it there either, even at 25 m.
And this is in TEXAS???!!!![]()
Yes ... I like it big time. Much better product than similar AR-style "pistols". Didn't think I would, but w/ a rail, red dot optics, a laser and white light combo, sling, AR-birdcage flash suppressor --- a fun little package to shoot. It accepts all AR magazines.

It would be PERFECT with the addition of a folding vertical fore end ... but you know how the FEDs would get excited about that kinda stuff .... and that's a whole 'nother world of regulations you don't want to get involved with ........ you can just grab the front end of the magazine.
Quite correct .... and remember the LA Watts riots and, of course, Katrina & the Big Easy amongst others???? .... You have to be able to defend YOURSELF. What happens to your 911 phone call when the next big earthquake, tornado, hurricane, terrorist attack, or Rodney King .... you pick it "event" takes place .... ???I'm thinking about one for the home defense scenario. ....anything past 25 yards outside isn't "self-defense" :icon_wink
