Just read a pretty good book

For those of you familier with David Poyer I just finished reading his latest book titled "The Command" It was pretty good. It dealt with the issues regarding letting women serve on combatants and it was nice to see Dan Lenson get his command finally. We all know it was a bumpy road for him. Anybody know what year he came in the navy? I cant seem to figure it out, I think either 73 or 74. Well for those of you who havent read it, go get it. And for those of you who arent familier with his books trek on down to the bookstore and see if they have anything by him.



And yes even though I am an ordie I can read pretty well actually

Prolific author David Poyer (a.k.a. David Andreissen) graduated from the Boat Skool in 1971. I don't know anything about his naval service other than he retired in 2001 (Regular or Reserve??). I hope I can do as well as he's done in the book business ..... :)
