JOPA Shirts

For anyone interested, I'm putting together some revamped JOPA shirts. Saw these going around a few years ago, so if you missed out, here's a new/improved version. Check out the page for more details, and expect the first round to go out early/mid October. Hit me up with any questions

Pretty good shirt young man. If memory serves, AW member "Statesman" designed something similar before he was shot by a bad guy. (Did I say that OK in this new progressive PC world.) Navy Officers should never be shot IMO. Verbally beaten maybe, but...

I just bought FOE-ER.

I'm sorry to hear that, I just noticed that thread went silent for a while. There's a lot of interest so I figured I'd throw it back together. Thanks for the support!

True to form, the Hinges are required to come to the rescue and chop the JO's shoddy product ... Per grammar, shouldn't there be an apostrophe between the 'r' and 's' in 'Officers'?

If it is in fact the possessive, then the apostrophe should actually be after the "s", indicating plural "officers". "Junior Officers' Protection Association"

There's a joke here to be made about hinges, but I'm not the one to make it.

True to form, the Hinges decide to "come to the rescue" and insert a grammatical error in JOPA's previously error-free work.

The JOs in JOPA aren't the owners, they're the beneficiaries of the association's protection.

Some JO'S sewed the famous Bart Simpson Tail hook 91 patch inside their jackets as they were banned. You might get a discret open jacket flash of the patch like a 1930s gangster showing his heater. I was already a hinge and had to lend my support even more discretly. But I was envious of the lost opportunity. Would it be in violation of some code for the old retired O-5 to sew the patch into the inside of my jacket at such a late point? Poser? Illegitimate? Or honorific of the ongoing struggle?

I believe you would be committing Stolen Valor.

Were you there? If so....

I believe you would be committing Stolen Valor.

If you were, wear it! I don't believe it was JOPA-specific.
