Just got here for the P-3 FRS and looking to do some diving in the area. The marina on base rents boats and looking if there is some people in the area interested in doing some diving and possibly some spear fishing if we can. Anyone interested in doing some diving let me know.

The spearing sucks in Jax. Not really even worth the effort.
The diving was really just diving to get the fins wet. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did, but I was not impressed. Best bet is to drive west to Vortex Springs or Crystal Springs and dive there.
Or just wait until you get orders to Hawaii and dive like god intended.

Dive the springs. More interesting. The scenery was always better at Ginny Springs, too. God Bless UF.
Yup. And when you're done with your dive, grab a case of beer and an inner tube and just float down the river.
