What kind of involvement do IW officers have with the SPECWAR community?

The file I have attached reads as if some are attached to seal units. Can some one explain.

It is a one tour thing, not a career path in of itself and lots of what you do will not be like the movies. What is going on now will probably change by the time you are a senior LT and could do this.
