I recently heard that the pecking order for career choice is Academy, NROTC, and then OCS (in that order). Is this true? I want to a Naval Aviator and I'm about to call a recruiter tomorrow to get the ball rolling and apply for BDCP and OCS.
I'm sure it's not an open policy or anything, but now I have this doubt planted in my mind that I may not get my fair shot at jets if I go OCS versus the other routes. Anyone have some experience or knowledge they can speak from?
Thanks in advance guys!
