Wow taxman almost thought you were serious! I was wondering how you thought ocs was easy, but than I read the rest.ahahahahahahaha

By the way...about the Navy ocs being easier...i don't know if it is or not...dont' care to know....but just for the knowledge their instructors are Marines

I don't know the particulars of the case, but I thought I might pipe in on something from earlier. One doesn't go to HMX right into being a Marine One pilot. It's a four year tour, at least the first year of which will be as a "green side" pilot doing Op Test and Eval, assault support, learning the different aircraft, etc. After that, you can fly the "white side" for VIP support. Only a few, like 3-5 pilots are Marine One command pilots. Only if you're going to HMX to be the CO, XO, or OPSO, i.e. as a senior major/LtCol/Col (the CO), could you count on being a presidential pilot. Again, I don't know the guy, but it would be a big stretch to deep-select a captain from OSO duty to fly the Prez. He's probably just getting a well-deserved tour at HMX.
