Is the tax situation in Massachusetts something you can live with in retirement, or are you going to follow the train of your peers to Florida?
 
TBH It's kind of wait and see. The household is a team effort. Wife runs it asian style.
It's been discussed but our medical needs are well covered here.

Just kidding much congrats to you…now that you’re out Boston is dead to me.
 
I can't afford to live in the city. We didn't even consider buying there when we started house hunting. Oddly enough we break even with the state taxes. Feds kill me every year. But I can sit on my front stairs and see my taxes in action so I don't get myself worked up over it. They gonna get me either way. I gotta see about getting another dog to keep me active after winter.
