IFS or MCFIP ...Whats the difference??

When I did it, it was pre-IFS. In order to do it, I had to sign a six month extension to my contract. If it's still around, probably not a bad idea to ensure this doesn't still apply.

it would seem to me that: "hey, these guys are paying for 25 hours of flight time" and that sounds awesome, but it apears that waiting till IFS when you are getting a paycheck from the Marine Corps that IFS is a better deal

course I'm just the bitter student who has paid for his flight training out of pocket as of late...

Dont sign an extension when you are going to get the same thing later, WITH A PAY CHECK.
