Like what is your secret in maintaining perfect vision? You have to be strong academically to become a pilot, so there is no way of getting around the intense studying in your childhood.
Well you can't get into a combat role with glasses or contacts. You need laser surgery, and there are a ton of risks associated with that. A lot of people also end up with botched surgeries.Slow down there, cowboy. You seem to have some suppositions that aren't rooted in objective fact. Intense studying need not ruin 20/20 vision. Use proper lighting, proper posture, and appropriate distance to your screen or reading material. I've been studying and reading my entire life, and still have 20/15 eyes at age 42.
Additionally, native 20/20 visual acuity is not requirement for service, just correctability to 20/20.
Most people's eyes shift around puberty, and again in their 40s or 50s. There are exceptions. Some people get PRK. Some people just have better vision than others.
Welcome to the forum. Do some reading, and use the search function. There's a lot of good info here.

SEALs have similar vision requirements as aviationFalse. Whatever source you're using for your research is not giving you good information.
