I just learned a "life lesson" about running (and possibly growing older?)
If you have pain in your knee, don't go run 7 miles and try and "work it out."
As soon as I got back from the run, literally the instant I stopped running, my knee tightened up, and in about 10 minutes I couldn't walk at all. Now I have spent the past two days hobbling around like a jackazz.
I guess I am just a thick-headed Jarhead. Now I look back thinking "Man, I was an idiot." But at the time I was thinking "I'll just run through this, no problem."
Anyway, learn from my mistakes! If something hurts, let it rest, and then ease back into running.
...Maybe if I was still 17 I could have gotten away with this.
