Some of the first video of operational use of the MH-139 I have seen online... this aircraft was brought through its test program by a friend, Desert Storm cruise veteran, and former HC-6 squadron-mate (now works for Leonardo) - who also personally designed the avionics displays and functionality of the TH-73 now in use at the HT's.

@IKE I'm guessing this goes into the spot where the legacy aircraft had the flux gate? Given the already existing plastic cover and it being far away from most of the other ferrous material on the airframe, it makes sense.
Not sure about the flux gate, since I was a cool HS kid. But as the article states, it's in the tail cone. And since it needs to be away from most metal, you can guess it's not too close to the IGB or CMDS dispensers.

F and Hs had the flux gate in the same place as the B. The H dumped it when it got better EGIs than the R/S.
