HERCULES FORMATION

HUD shot on the way back from Lajes. If you look on the bottom left, you will see a faint arrow showing 125 kts headwind in the face.
Daily occurance flying Honolulu to toyko. That might even be considered a "light" headwind in the winter....
Of course we're probably flying at a higher altitude than you.
Samesies, without the gucci HUD. We were sweating gas till the winds shifted more northerly instead of being 125-140 in the face. Quick trip going out to Europe, not so much coming back.
