A C-46 that flew paratroop missions the night before the actual D-Day landings, and later on D-Day, is in the Airborne Museum at Saint Mere Eglise in Normandy France. Excellent Museum, stopped in a few months ago. Also have a WACO glider. Very rare. Of course neither fly any more.. Glad the CAF is still doing what they do best, keepen um fly'n.
