I went to MCAS Miramar today to get my physical done and I ran into a problem with my hearing during the audiogram.
The results for my left ear were: 500 5 / 1000 15 / 2000 35 / 3000 35 / 4000 35/ 6000 30
And for the right: 500 5/ 1000 0/ 2000 15/ 3000 10/ 4000 15/ 6000 25
The tech told me the left ear was bad, but didn't say if it was disqualifying for SNA, he also said that I should probably retest.
I'm wondering if the results are disqualifying, if I can get a wavier, and if I can retest through a civilian doc? I'll probably try to retest when I go back to get my optometry done on 17 July, but I'd like to get the hearing taken care of before then.
Thanks
P.S. I tried searching, but the threads seemed to apply to people who had already commissioned.
