Does anybody know what the max amount of time the gov will allow you to store your HHG with them? I know the usual is 90 days but I'm talking more long-term. Can't seem to find it on the smartweb move site.

Your skipper can write you a letter authorizing longer storage. Not sure what the max is, but guys getting to squadrons right before deployment seem to like to leave all the HHG in gov't storage, then get it delivered 6 months later when they get back and actually get a place.
