Now its just I'll ride your ass till you move, simple as that. Governor Bush knows which side of his bread is buttered; isn't the average age of a Florida voter is something like 104? and they all have driver's licenses, so he's not going to alienate his core constituency

TALLAHASSEE -- Gov. Jeb Bush vetoed his first bill of the year Thursday, squashing a plan to require motorists dawdling in the fast lane to move over.
Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, sponsored the bill and dubbed it the "road rage reduction" act, saying it would lessen tempers that frequently erupt when a slowpoke impedes traffic during busy rush hours.
The bill was popular among lawmakers who approved it 28-10 in the Florida Senate and 113-4 in the House.
But Bush, in a veto message, said the bill "appears to address a perception, rather than an empirically-established reality, that Florida is experiencing road incidents connected with so-called `rolling roadblocks' created when inconsiderate or unwitting drivers occupy the left-hand lane."
Bush also said the bill could dissuade tourism and strain law enforcement officials. He inferred the bill also favored lead-footed behavior over prudence.
